i have a H-4 mag that has a manual pull type shutoff on opposite side there normally on, condencer is also opposite of normal, drive lug / inpulse is clockwise but is 180 deg. off from most H-4 mags, serial number has an X after it , can anyone tell me what this fits , thanks ( scatching my head here)

I have only seen one like you are describing. The housing is tilted out at a 45° angle when mounted on an ag tractor. It will also fire 90° before TDC and only has a 15° lag angle. The impulse will also have "X3" stamped on it. The literature I found somewhere on the internet said it was for special applications. I have no idea just what equipment was that special.
