Parts for a W6 in the New England area

I am looking to pick up a rear wheel hub for a W6 and wanted to know if there were any old tractor dealers in the New England area. I know the standard tread tractors aren't popular in this area...but, was hoping I could save on shipping something that heavy.

If you don't know of any in the New England area, could you recommend a parts dealer for W6s and/or Farmalls?

Thanks,

Mike.

Im in CT, and dont see many W's. I would think that your best place to look around here is PA they have alot of parts down there W's included.

Make a weekend out of it and hit up a few yards in NY and PA they have better selections and prices then we do here in New England. Was out there last summer for the first time to pick up some equipment and it sure was interesting to see all the yards and parts.

I have a W450 in New England and ended up ordering several parts
from Pete's Tractor Salvage in Anamoose, ND. quality was excellent
-- just as described -- and price very fair. You can find him on the
web at http://wwwdotpetestractordotcom/

Thanks Mark...I'll check out that site.

Andrew, if you have any recommendations from your trip to PA and NY...that would be great!

Try Kim Spaulding (President New England Chapter IH Collector Club). He is located in Pepperel, MA. He is interested in Standards. In fact, he owns one of the few remaining Gas 600's as well as several other Standards.. He may know where there is a I-6 wheel nearby.

Another alternative is to find someone who can deliver a wheel to the RPRU in Madison, WI. Kim or someone else can bring it back to New England.

You also might check to see if the the I-6 uses the same wheel as the W-6. You are more likely to find an I-6 here.

I've seen some of Kim's tractors at the Pepperell and Orange shows...nice stuff. Good idea on the I-6 compatibility.

Thanks everyone.
