I have a severe wobble in the steering in this tractor, I assumed it was a worn steering gear in the pedistal I a have been using it at low speed so the wobble did not bother me, I was going to go through it next winter, but I was using it Friday and the steering would not turn to the left then when it did turn it started this hard slapping back and forth, so I increased the throttle about 300 r.p.m. and it sraightened it out, it has plenty of oil, just wondering it the steering pump is bad or a low by pass preasure? Any advise will be greatly appreciated. I was also wondering if this tractor has a rated horse power higher than a 460, it is diesel.
