560 stuck in gear

Was doing yard work with my 560. Pushed up the manure/dirt pile one last time, backedup went forward and found myself stuck in that gear after coming up out of the pasture. Can put the stick in neutral and move it back and forth. Put it into another gear and everything bogs down. It did move from 4th down to 5th as I kept shaking it around. So now I have a go fast only forward 560. Any ideas? anyone?

Pull the pin out (at bottom of shifter), look in side you'll see 3 sets of rails, get them all in line with a long bar. If it keeps happening, you may need to weld the bottom of the shifter up, it's common they wear.

Mine did the same thing last week.Take the 3 bolts off that hold the shifter base on the platform.Line up the slots and bolt the shifter back on.Worked for me.

Thanks for the advice I'll give it a try in the next day or so. This babys got a lot of hrs on her so it may be.
