Super M grill

I have the 15th Louisville Super M built and it has a grill like a M. The paint looks original but I have never seen a super M with that kind of grill. I didn"t know if some of the early ones still had the old sheetmetal or if I"m going to have to find a grill. I hope I"m lucky but I don"t expect to be. Thanks.

Only difference between a later M grill and a SM grill was the screw hole placement for mounting the front emblem.

I'm pretty sure that ALL of the supers had the IH badge. Some of the later supers also had a couple of larger holes about half way down and on either side of center to allow access to bolt holes on the steering pedestal, but if your pedestal does not have those holes, then all you need do is fill the screw holes where the "Farmall" badge mounted, and drill a couple of new holes to install the "IH" badge.

Maybe it was only the Super MTA that has those other holes, similar to a 400.

As DSlater stated, the grills were the same; the emblems were different. All you need to do is change the emblem. You can fill the two little holes when you paint the tractor.
