How big a 3-pt Brush Mower can a 424 Handle?

Can an IH 424 utility tractor handle a 3 pt hitch 5 foot brush mower that weighs 580 pounds? If not, what's the recommended limit?

Not a problem, may need a little extra front weight depending on flatness of area to be mowed.

424 won't know it has anything on it. Lots of 8N's running around with 5 footers and the 424 is twice the tractor an 8N is.

I used to own a 424. I ran a 6 ft 3 pt hitch rotary cutter with it. It handled that easily, even in tall thick grass. Not sure what gear I used, but it was reasonable. Not sure how much my brush hog weighs. It's a "standard" cutter, not heavy duty.
