Jumpy 3pt linkage hydraulics - 434

Hi guys, can anybody advise how to adjust the 3pt linkage hydraulics to slow it down? I have no problem with the power etc, but it is extremely jumpy with a boom pole on. I have the slow/fast tap on slow, and I can slow it a bit more with the on off tap, but then it squeals when lifting.
Anybody got any advice?
Thanks,
Rex

Hi Rex, make sure the draft control lever is fully forward. Also check the mechanically slop on the top link housing. The spring behind the housing could be broken or out of adjustment causing the draft control attempting to over compensate for the 3pt being raised.

Thanks Jim, I've been away so not on line.
This tractor is pretty tight, I'll check the draft, but how is the spring adjusted. Any instructions?
Thanks Rex

Hi,I have an IHC (H) tractor and it has hyd.connection on the right side,in front of the distributor. It has a hose on it and it cyles the oil back into system. What is this used for?It also has a hyd.unit under the belt pulley area.It does not work either.I just use it for the PTO.MY Question is what is this hyd.connection for?
