The Pump on our 1066 leaks fuel out of the area underneath where the injection lines come into the pump. Is there a seal or o-ring that we can replace or is this something better left to the profesional pump shop? If it is an easy fix, how to you get to the seal? Thanks in advance.

The pump will need to be taken apart to fix the seal on the high pressure head.Usually have a inj shop do it so every thing is set correctly.

ihjeff, My ol 966 was leaking from that O-ring the other day, had a local shop fix it for $135 plus they tightened up the outlet valve on the fuel tank.
Unless you have done this, leave it to someone who does mechanic work every day just too much stuff to screw up, besides $135 is cheap if you really mess something else up. IF.... you live close to Tractor Vet call him, If not call your local shop My Thoughts!

Thanks John. We knew pumps were touchy, just wanted to know how far we could go into it and be safe. Definitely leaving it for the pros. Thanks again.
