Hi Farmall fans, I have a problem with my hydralic remotes on my IH 350. I have a wagon with a hoist, when I raise the hoist it goes up just fine but when I move the remote lever to lower the hoist the tractor engine lugs down. I need to know how to set the remote to have presure to raise the hoist and then free fall to return the hoist to the down position. This is probably a simple fix for some but not for me.Any help is welcome, Thanks, Ken in AZ.

On the non lever end of the valve, there is a switch. It has two positions. it looks like a roll pin under a sheet metal strip. running through a flat that a crescent wrench can fit on. Turn it to the other end of its travel and it will be set for single acting cylinders. JimN

I will add to Jim's response and say that I see many of those roll pins that are gone or broken. As a result, the selector can oscillate back and forth. It was well worth my time to replace the roll pins on my 450.

Ken, it sounds like you don't have a manual, because that information is detailed there. You might want to get a reprint manual. Who knows what other things you're missing?
