Farmall H lift all

I am planning to mount a dual OC valve on my H to use one as the remote, and one as the 3pt lift. I would like to use the pump to as just a pump.

Is it easy to modify the lift all pump so that it does not kick out on high pressure? I can use the pressure relief on the new remote valve if necessary?

I have the pump out to replace the seal.

Easiest is to put a lump of metal on the bottom side of the pull rod to hook it in the on position. This allows it to be shut off from the circuit if needed, and still be pretty stock. An internal tab could be made to hold it in the on position at the control, but I think that would be less control, and flexibility in use. It might confuse the next owner as well. JimN

If your new valve assembly has a relief valve and plumbed properly it will work. However if you do not modify the relief valve in the Lift-All it will also still be in the system.
