I posted a question a while back about my "48 1 wire alternator conversion not charging. Just to bring you guys up to speed, apparently when cold the fan belt was stiff enough it would spin everything fas enough. However once it warmed up and softened it slipped enough that the alternator wouldn"t spin up. Once i tightened that and the alternator it works like a champ. It excites just above lowest idle speed and charges like it should.
