hi i have a 1924 10-20 and i picked up some front wheels 250.00 and when i whent to mount them my hubs have the old flat baring and the new wheels have a taperd one can i put the taperd ones on my old spindels if i cant i would try to bring the wheels back the seller told me they would work thanks a lot i love this site i get a lot of help on her

Boy, I don't know. I'd guess it will be hard to find the correct wheels and they might cost even more. Another thing you could do is change the spindles. I have a 10-20 here that I sold the wheels off and I wouldn't be too hard to get along with. Did you get the bearings?

no he did not have the bearings think i could find spindels or new axel

I ran into that problem on a 15-30. Your best bet is to sit on the wheels you got. (Now you have a reason to buy another 10-20 since you have the front rims for it)
Look around on ebay or this site and the correct style will come up for sale eventually.
I changed out the whole axel assembly on a 10-20 it did. Again that one had differnt front bearings and the set I bought included the axel.

I wish I had my 10-20 parts book! I do remember there were different bearings and as many as 3 different hubs. If you can find a parts book, grab it! Get one from in the late 30s if possible.

NO YOU CANT!!!!!

flat bearing spindles re diffeent that taper bearing spindles. you have to change the wheels or the spindles so they match
