Have a SMTA, 12 volt generator, pos ground, electronic ignition.
Any problems changing to a 12 volt alternator & neg ground?

Don - Most likely your electronic ignition will work only on positive ground (it'll be marked "positive ground only" or similar). Switching the tractor to negative ground will destroy the ignition's electronics instantly.
Unfortunately the only fix to replace it with a negative ground electronic ignition - or switch back to a conventional ignition - if you're going to a negative grounded alternator.
