What size hubs fit a 1206 and what models interchange. Were factory duals an option or after market in mid 60s.Also have asked about FWD and Gold-Demos but never get a reply must be unknown like JD 4020 power-shift and HFWD .It seems the less known the more people think its the most sought after. THANKS!

Dual hubs was a very common factory option on a 1206. I will have to measure axles to tell you the size. I thought they are 3 1/4. Same as 1066 but not a 14. Hope this helps.

yes axle duals from the factory, actually they were the only ones recommended ih twelve hole wheels and clamp-on duals broke wheels. yes fwd from the factory. no gold demo 1206's. those where '56 series tractors.

7 8 and 986 used the same axle size (3 1/4 inch) axles too. When we replaced a wheel center on the one 1066, they said that the wedge wheels on the 14's and 1086 (3 3/8 inch?) were the same as the ones used on the 9 and 1066, but used a different wedge. Can't say on the clamp type.
