460 utility lp

hi my friend has a 460 lp and it's a utility im not sure if its one of the hi clear utility's or not but it has spin out rims if that helps were curious on how many were made and a rough estimate of the value

Hi Utilitys have 38 inch rear tires. Value depends on condition. $1500-$3500, unrestored.

There were less than 20 LPG Hi Utilities made. 7 in 1958, 5 in 1959, no data for 1960, 1 in 1961, none in 1962, no HU's built at all in 1963. I don't have data for the regular utilities. If it indeed is a LPG Utility, it should be worth considerably more than the above estimate.

im pretty sure that it didnt have 38 in rears but the spin out rims made me think it was one of the high models any chance you would know how many utility lps were made

High Utilities have axles/cast centers like regular 460"s, standard utilities have bolt on hubs(prob 8 bolt). If it is a high utility, it is worth alot.
