Anyone know much about these...are they good tractors? Value in good shape in Indiana?
Would it make a good loader tractor?

I don't know what this going green crap is all about and they should be slaped upside the head for not giving you a straight answer. 3088's are petty good tractors as long as they've been taken care of. They have some improved features over the 86 series and it should have the German diesel engine in it. For using it as a loader tractor the front axle's pins, bushings, and bearings need to be maintained if want it to last. Keeping the clutch adjusted properly will improve the lifespan, for constant clutching to change direction is hard on the release bearing and pressure plate fingers.
