Recently I posted about using concentrated liquid soap brushed on the tire prior to painting. Just finsihed painting another tractor, and this time, before starting to scrub off the overspray I took the point of a dull pocket knife and scraped the paint at the rim-tire junction so when brushing on water, it could penetrate. Then I used a steel bristled detail brush and water to carefully remove the paint at the rim edge. The rest I scrubbed off with a nylon brush and water. Did all the tires in just over an hour and a half.
