Hello everyone have any of you used purple power degreaser that O-Reileys sells in the gallon jug used some today cleaning my Super C I saved from scrap. Getting ready to rebuild motor and get it ready to be painted. really impressed with the cleaning of grease it went to running off tractor. One more round and it can be painted with a little prep.
 
Be sure you get ALL that stuff off before painting. Then use wax and grease remover.
 
Purple power works great for degreasing. I have found that it shows no mercy on paint. It will give it that faded streaky look.
 
Yep, they make it right up the road from me. Had a little incident the other night with some fumes. its not a potent as it use to be though, but still works good. You can use it on paint, but you have to rinse it off fast, and I wouldnt use it on older paints. I use it in my pressure washer on alot of different things.
 
I've been using Purple Power for a long time. I use a spray bottle to spray it on. It also comes in spray bottles so get one of those and use gallon jugs to refill it. Spray it on, let is set for a few minutes and the rinse and brush it off. Or use a pressure washer for the rinse step. You do have to use a stiff brush or the pressure washer to get the best results.
