Is there any differences in the strength of gears, shafts and everything else in the transmissions from the 966,1066, and 1466? What, if any, parts are interchangeable? Are the axle sizes all the same? We are looking at a 966 farm puller and want the strongest transmission possible. It already has the bearing support in the transmission. Thank you.

Nope there all the same Except for axle size on the 1466 it is bigger and heavier . The weak point is in the speed transmission on the bottom shaf and if someone has already installed the lower shaft support then ya should be good to go . Now all ya need is enough pony power to find the next weak link. When ya find that power then you will need some taller gears .
