digital tachometer

Does anyone know where I can find the sensor that screws into the flywheel housing for the digital tach on my 1486? Went to a CIH dealer, told me to try a auto parts store or electrical parts store.

They got to be kidding. Call a different dealer.

Go to the CaseIH website and do a search for parts, type in 1486 and look under instruments to see what you need. Then call dealer with a part number.

A lot of dealers today don't want to mess with you if you don't have three millon dollars worth of equipment. They don't want to wast there time with old tractors like my 856, 806's and 1486

I agree, call another dealer. My dealer has quite a few common parts on hand for my 400, and they will look it up to see if they have what I need or if they can still get it.

Go to CaseIH online parts catalog to confirm this. Part # 121624C1 sensor is the same for the 886, 986, 1086 and 1486. David................

Should have included the link. Click it below. At the top put the cursor on parts and service. Select search for parts. Then click on the red "right here" to search for parts.
