Hey guy's.Wondering what is so special about louisville tractors? Just picked one up and trying to get info. Thanks for your replys

Some say there are some small differences, but it is just a Super M made at a different factory.

I totally agree with CNKS. While a few guys seem to go nutz-o over them, to me they are just a SM built at a different location.
But then, some fellows flip out over 1950 white Demonstrators. Not me. I like my Farmalls drerssed in red.

Remember this: Amongst all types of collectors there are always a few who like to say, "Nah nah-nah nah-nah nahhhhh! Look what I've got; you don't have one!" Why? Who knows?

To each his own, I suppose, and that is fine with me.

I own two Super M's - one each Louisville and Farmall Works. My father in law purchased them new in 1953. Other than the format of serial number (and one was spec'd with with the optional wide front axle...) there is NO difference whatsoever between them.

I suppose the Louisville tractors are "special" because there's not as many of them.

THANKS FOR THE REPLYS GUYS. IT'S A NICE LOOKING TRACTOR FROM CLOSE BUT DON'T GET TO CLOSE[HA HA].THEY PAINTED RIGHT OVER EVERY THING INCLUDING THE DIRT. WHEN'T TO BUY A SUPER C AND BROUGHT HOME A SUPER M, H, AND THE SUPER C[I HATE WHEN THIS HAPPENS...NOT].
