farmall h pulley socket size

I am not sure of the nut size, since I don't have a socket big enough, I have always used a pipe wrench or cresent wrench. You may not need a puller for the pulley, all the ones I have messed with came off by pulling by hand and with a pry bar between the engine and pulley. I don't know why you would need to remove the cam gear unless it is bad, but remove the two bolts that hold the cam in, they can be reached through the holes in the cam gear, then remove the cam. I would be leery of using a gear puller on the cam gear, you could break the thin webs, I would use a press so that you can support the gear nearest the middle and press the cam out of the gear.
