good morning, found a 52 M, carb leaks, rear tires not to good. man wants $800 for it. he said he drove it to the place it is parked. carb leaking all the way.he it didnot have hyd. I thought all M had a hyd. pump. does have a belt pulley.looks good from the road.

If it runs without knocking or blue smoke and drives okay, it's worth every penny. It probably won't run great with the carb and ignition needing work, but it should at least run.

A 52 M, if it really is, is kind of an interesting model to an IH buff. 52 was when they made 3 different Ms:

1. M with band brakes.
2. M with disk brakes (last 2000 or so).
3. The first Super Ms.
