MD injector pump questions

Where or is there a drain for the injection pump? I'd like to put fresh oil in in and also want to check to see if there's any diesel in it. There is no fuel pressure guage on this pump. Where does that go?? Must be a place somewhere to thread it into, but I can't see where it is. I'm new to all this, and am intrigued by this machine. Thanks for any help, and also for answering previous questions.

on the side pump toward the front of pump there is two plugs one is drain plug one is level plug,as far as the pressure gauge goes it near the top of plunger head in line just below return line. Pressure gauge not available from CIH reproductions are pricey,I use engine oil pressure gauge with mounting studs cut off not original but works great. Good luck Scott

Ive got an MD and I took the gauge off cause it was ratty and didnt work anywho. If it runs good I dont care what the fue pressure is! Hoss

I was looking at this MD again today and there is no place to put a gauge on the injector pump. Apparently some of the pumps did not have gauges. I thought they did.

A lot of the later pumps do not have a gauge. There will typically be a spot for it but not drilled/tapped. Does yours have the A or the IH?
