tractor while running the hyd. pump is under a load when not working a valve.is there a bypass valve that is not opening and where is it located?

Should be on the left side of the valve bank under the dash.

First thing to look at is if some one has turned the single , double selector too far and bent or broke the roll pin stop as this will cause system to stay on demand. Second, in the regulator valve block,(one with four bolts on top) there is a screwed in orfice with a screen that will plug causing same problem. You will need a new gasket and maybe orfice as screen gets tore up bad. Cut off bottom of screen to clean and then curl it back up if it is intact. Put in a longer bolt in opposite corners of block when removing cover as there is a very heavy relief valve spring under neath.

sounds like safety valve orfice and screen in pressure valve is plugged. get a shop manual from I&T the part is #10 in the manual that part is available from CIH. Scott
