M trans cover shifter on the right side

Hi Guys I have been looking for a trans. cover for a M with shifter on the right side for quite a while now (trying to reverse a cotton picker) can anyone steer me in that direction? Thanks in advance Pete

Doesn't your lid look similar to a 400, 450, 560 in that it has both left and right shifter openings? If that is the case, the shifting forks will have to be replaced or modified. The mods require that the yoke be separated from the sliding flatbar, turned 180 degrees, and rewelded.

If I am not mistaken, all lids will interchange from M to 660. Some may require an extra hole or two be drilled for brakes, steering post, or various tank or seat mounting hardware. Shifting forks from SMTA to 660 are slightly different from the early tractors. D Slater will know what works.
