...with the dual decals is for sale on ebay for only $4,800. Seller does not mention that it has a regular M engine in his description.....

i met the fellow that hauled the tractor to the auction, he stopped by the shop. his neighbor was the original owner of the tractor. as far as he knew, the tractor was never painted, except around the clutch housing when the t/a was replaced a few years ago. the original engine tossed a rod, and a fresh motor was put in that came from an m. i heard it run at the aucion and it is a solid tractor, has char-lynn power steering too. seems like its past few years has been assigned duties running an auger. the original owner said he bought it new with the double decals, only thing i can figure is they were put on at the dealer, possibly the tractor may have sustained some damage in transport before delivery, i can only speculate on that.but for a smta, it is a very solid tractor. i was real interested in buying it, but i was after a skid loader there that was up for sale, but the loader auctioned after the smta, and it went a little to high for me. ah well, last friday of the month is the morris consignment auction, maybe i will find a good treasure there. gotta see if i can find rrlund another ear corn auger too!!!!
