I have a 856 has been in the shed since fall went out today to use it and the steering will not work and the brakes feel soft have to pump them up to get pettle steering and brks have always work great before and have aways work in the cold also dose anyone have an idea whats up fluid is clean and full I dont have a manuel but it looks like I may have to get one

Sounds like she lost prime on the MCV pump. But to be dure here make sure that the three point goes up and down . IF that works then run the engine at around 2000 RPM and if the steerwheel is free floating then turn the steering wheel to the left as this will help bleed the air out of the system and help it pick up prime . Got to remember she is getting old and i'll bet you don't pick up prime to fast anymore either.

Thanks I will give that a try I think I will what till it warms up a bit that may help as well its just kinda weird everything work great all last year and when I parked it thanks

I have two 706s that do that after they set.On one I had to take the bleeder plug out on the MCV to get the air out it is right below the two cooler lines.
