fast hitch adapt. to three point

couple different ways you can go, one is a fixed adapter that bolts to the 3 pt implement, the other are the slip in prongs and add a top link bracket. steiners has both. here is a pic of the fixed adapter on my 240u

I have one out in the yard that is a little different than all these and I don't have a ready picture. If you go to the Case/IH online parts catalog they have a picture. If you do not find the pic, send me an email and I will make a picture of mine and shoot it to you.

This Adapter was made by IH. This particular adapter is has 3 inch coupling beams that fit Farmall 300 and up.

Here is a picture of a Super C with a two point to three point. And to your question, Yes they are used on the two point so you can use three point equipment. One problem is a lot of the three point stuff is too wide. Not all three point stuff will work slip fit. Even if you have the converter you might still have to "make" stuff work. Ron

Mine is very similar to GA Dave's except the "hooks" on the bottom are a little different. Mine have latches with a ring top that can be lifted like the latches on a fast hitch with a tool that you use to reach it from the seat. They will spring load up (or they would if the springs weren't broken), you back into the implement, lift up on the the pins and the latch snaps down. Even though the springs are broken, they will stay up, but just bump them a little and they will fall... takes being real careful to just back in and pick up the pins. Mine has the real short top link as shown. The anti-sway on Dave's looks like chains, but mine is the same as the fast hitch.
It is shown in my parts breakdown, so it's IH.
