I"m on a ship off of Southern New England. Forcast calls for gales throughout the day tomorrow, gusting to 45 knots, seas 8-11 feet, subsiding 7-9 feet late in the day. Yuck.

You should be happy it"s just your windows rattling... It"ll be my fillings tomorrow!! Makes for a long day.

It came through south-central Illinois and dumped a half-inch of pea-size hail here. It hailed so hard you would have thought it was snowing a blizzard. Praise be, the hail was not any larger. Blowed like the dickens too.

I"m glad I"m not in nspec"s shoes though, this flat lander couldn"t handle much of that!!!!

Make for port! You should have seen the waves the wind raised in a little farm pond here in Indiana today!!!! 2 foot waves in a pond not 100 yards wide, not kidding one bit!!!

There wasnt any standing water in this field yesterday. It was raining when I went to bed and this is what it looks like this morning 02-12-09.
Its hard to believe how little rain it takes to cause flooding when the land is saturated.

It"s here. Blowing like h*ll. I don"t think we got as much rain as was predicted. I see broken tree limbs all over the place. Temp is 38 degrees and headed down.

About the worst windstorm I have seen in central PA. I lost more sileage than I got in the wagon when feeding cows. Neighbors lost parts of barn roofs. One year old house roof gone. Very lucky here.
