Super A is runnin' good....3 1/4 bore....I wanted to be sure this was a successful transplant before I put any hard dollars in it ....Hadn't had any cold cash comein' in since I finised a Const. Supt. job last Sept. GRAVY IS GETTIN'THIN...I'mm gonna be hillin' up some TATOR rows today, good as the tractor is runnin' I expect no problems....Best surprize is no surpise at all...Thank all Yaw'l for Your help....Tractor will need clutch very soon, got to rebuild or buy a new carb. Since I've got this Super A goin' I have an International 240 Utility an a "A" I have no use for and need to sell' Which brings Us to the Question
What is the correct name for the hitch that is on this 240?

Thanks Wild Bill

It started out as a "3-point Fast Hitch" but it looks like it now has a number of home-made or substitute parts.

I agree with Jim... looks like the top link attachment may be from an aftermarket kit and the lower looks home made. I have an IH 3 point kit on mine and it looks nothing like that. It uses a different, fairly short top link that is specific to that hitch and the bottom two do not have swivel balls... has the hooks that snap over the implement pins. I believe mine is called an industrial 3 point hitch with tele-depth.

Mr. Becker..Your post boosted My memory, several years back the Case/ IH parts man ran me a drawin' of the two point and three point fast hitch with traction control and tel a depth. His drawin's ended at the clevis on the left link and the levelin' screw housein' on the right side ( as You look at the tractor from the back end ) Somebody had added the levelin'screw on the left side before I got the tractor. The piece on the left side to hook an emplement to, I made, it goes outside the frame of the hitch ( Hitch was an inch or so too narrow for My bushog ) I use the right side like I/H entended, left side piece bolts on and this works okay. This tractor runs okay, smokes some, I've bushoged 4 hrs. It will be down a quart of oil, gen. replaced with alt. brakes weak, needs paintin'..Seat..IFRC, a 1964, a few over 3000 made....Anybody got an idea what a fair price is...For Me and the buyer? Had an offer of $1000 but I was usein' the tractor then.
Thanks,
Wild Bill
