My son (16 )would say SHINY. If only they had been painted as nicely from the factory. But then again we would be trying to strip high technology paint off now. Looks great. Jim

gene, i have one of those shure shot cans that you put penetration oil and such in then pressurize with an air hose. first i use lacquer thinner in it and start from the top, wash the thinner down to the bottom of the tractor. you can see if any oils come off. i also use a red scotch brite if any scrubbing needs to be done. dont use a rag!!! the cast will catch little lint hairs from the rag and make cute little boogers in the paint. when all that is clean, i use our 900 wax and grease remover in the shure shot, then do the wash again. i start the air makeup on the booth then, blow off the tractor with a blow gun to clear the booth of any dust, then start primering. i like the ep 689 primer from basf, self etch non sanding epoxy primer, 2 medium coats, half hour minimum flash time, then its ready for color. this is ih 2150 in martin senour's cross fire line from napa.
