200 Now Runs!!!

Finally after about 6 years my stuck 200 is running. New sleves, pistons, rebuilt head, replaced Carter carburator with a Zenith, rewire, new temperature gage, weld/braze manifold extension, paint, one new rear tire, one used rear tire, and paint. Rear end still needs paint. Hydraulics did not work. The fan bearing froze after about 20 minutes of running and there were a couple of small oil leaks. I have a spare fan bearing and plan to tackle the hydraulics next. Thanks for all the help and good advice.

It`s a great feeling, aint it !! I`m happy for you, they`re nice tractors. One thing though, make sure you put some oil in the fan bearing on your replacement fan. Congrats, Mark

My dad had a 200 and I grew up on it. He planted 130 acres of cron, peanuts, cotton, and tobacco. He had a mounted corn picker and I still believe the 2-point hitch was far superior to the 3-point.
