Where to Jack

New Farmall A owner (1941).
Where, exactly, are ALL of the jacking places for the REAR of the tractor. I want to remove wheels. Are the two "cross-hatched" circular areas underneath the places, perhaps the only places, to jack? Thanks, Tom

I don't know if they are the only places. I think they would work well though.
I raise mine by putting a "high-lift" on the drawbar (one side at a time) and then put the jack stands or block at the cross hatched areas you mention.

Tom If you just want to remove wheels, jack under drawbar. Those spots you mention are necessary if you want to remove a final drive.

I use a small block of wood (2 x 4) between the pieces of metal (drawbar and jack) to minimize the chance of a slip.

I agree with using the drawbar. Under the axle housing works, but you need a tall jackstand, and I worry about what happens if we have an earthquake when I have my jackstands that high. With the jackstands or blocks under the drawbar, I feel safer. Probably doesn't apply for you folks with stable ground.
