Tractor tires

Has anyone ever bought tires from Tactor Town. I found them on the internet. The prices look great but their ad sayes all tires are "Buffed". Not sure what that means. Seconds?
Are they ok to do business with?

Buffed means a blemished or "second" tire that has had all identifying markings buffed, or ground, off.

Before you get all excited about great deals on tires be aware that they have to be shipped to you, and installed. Shipping is not cheap; most tires have to go truck freight, which is even worse than standard UPS, plus they only get the tire to the nearest depot unless you pay a LOT more. Local shops don't charge "extra" for shipping, plus they'll give you a break on installation if you buy from them.

JFavor: Kirsch is right, I wouldn't look at tires more than 100 miles from, unless they give you a delivered price you can live with.
