I have a 3 valve system under the dash my hydraulics lift good but wont hold on any valve .Any ideas would be helpful and also do you know where i could find the check valve ?

thanks!

Are you trying all three valves with the same implement? It may be that the cylinder on the implement is leaking and needs to be rebuilt.

Or, all three valves on the tractor need to be disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled with new gaskets and orings.

You are dealing with a spool valve and there is no positive seal as they need clearance to operate. There is no o-ring in the valve that hold the load. Wear over the years allows more leakage past the lands. Make sure though that it is not the cylinder leaking as a leaking cyl will cause pressue to equalize onto the rod side of cyl and about quadruple the pressure making it impossible for spool valve to hold up very long. You can add a single action check block or altelrnating check valve and this will positively hold the load up.
