i have a farmall super M, does anyone have a good pic of the seat pedistal, it is not the one with the battery under the seat...i need to replace the home made one with a better version,...can't find an original,also need dimensions....thanks

Any Monroe seat (the one with the large conical spring) from an H or M will fit.

i guess a better description of what i need is the rectangular box that the seat pedistal is mounted on, which would be the battery box on some,...

If you do not need to have the battery under the seat, then do as nebraska cowman suggested. Those seats are plentiful and would be the quickest way to fix it.

Check out oemtractorparts.com. They have the both the box and the lid. Prices 127-134 for the box and 96 for the lid.

Also, weather or not its used as a battery box its the same part.

The Case-IH online parts catalog will have drawings (no dimensions though) of all factory available M seats.
