my 10-20 is stuck so i toke off the head and number 1 and 2 have lots of piting on the top of the pistons little on the sleev how much piting is ok and if i get her lose can i just hone the rugh spots number 1-4 i think are ok thanks

Mine was stuck like that too, I cleaned up the pistons , honed a little with the stone type hone and put in new rings, worked fine, But my piston pins were a bit loose and couldn't find new so used the best used ones I could get.

How fancy of a job are you planning to do and how much use of what kind do you have in mind? Just a new set of rings should be pretty forgiving, but IIRC 10-20 sleeves are available through Alderson, and I believe Fordson House too if you're worried.

My mind, in the box, always thinks flat stones, but I have to wonder if dingle berries wouldn't be the right tool breaking the edges around the pits just a bit.

thank for all the info i think i will try to get it running and see how that goes if it dosent go then rebuild her but if i take it apart i just never know when to stop
