Found one for $1500 with plow, cultivator, and brush hog, which is all Okies think they need to get into farming. Anyway, what is its horsepower? How big a plow would it pull on flat sandy ground? Ive got a 41 B that I gave to my daughter and her husband, and it pulled a 16in AC pull type and even brought up a HUGE bolder with the plow with hardly a problem. Would the A pull 2 14s?? Got a 48 Cub, I might see if he would trade with a mower deck for it, see what boot hed have to have over the Cub.

If in sandy type soil yes but traction is the problem. I used to plow gardens with a B with 2-12 had plenty power but needed more wt for traction.

A super A will handle a 2 bottom 12 inch plow but thats about it. And thats on sand, if you have sand i dont know if it will on clay soil. It only has about 22 hp.

A Super A ought to pull virtually the same thing a B will pull. Same cubic inches, although the SA probably has a tad more compression (6.0 vs 5.33) and therefore, maybe a slight advantage in HP.

We pulled a double 16" trailer plow all day with a regular straight A in sandy loam with no problems except traction. 2nd gear about half throttle. That was with wheel weights and fluid.
