Super A versus A

Have A farmall A and a Farmall Super A. Got the Super A running and it made a lot of noise in transmission. Took top off and discovered that the oiling gear is loose on bottom shaft. The super A serial # is FAA272727. Going to sell Super A .Is there any difference in the transmissions on these tractors? Don't want to buy a parts book for the Super A because it will be gone as soon as it is repaired and the Case dealer(30 miles away) can,t answer this question.

Part numbers are different, the early trans has no oil slinger. caseih.com search for parts, put in Farmall then select A and look at tranny. Save picture as (into memory) then open Super A tranny and save it.. The differences will be in the drawings. JimN
