Would Farmall A piston rods hold up in a 4"x4" 2000 RPM gas engine?

If the piston was designed and weighed within a few grams of the original, I see no reason it would not be just fine. This assumes no extreme compression, or use in a diesel, or with a turbo or mechanical supercharger. all of these would betray its humble origins and make it into a significant dissapointment. JimN
