if its possible to put a super h egine kit in a h

I have a Farmall H and I"m going to rebuild it but i was wondering if any one could give an idea if a super h egine kit will fit a regular h and what parts if any need change to do it?

Sleeves won't fit, unless you bore the block.

You would need to bore the block to use the Super H kit in an H. You can increase the cid in your H with an overbore kit that will increase the bore from 3-3/8 to 3-7/16". No machining should be needed. You can probably get stepped head pistons too. I don't think an extra 1/16 of an inch is worth the effort or the money. Hal

Dad had an H after I was gone from home that he said had a Super H overhaul kit in it. I know it pulled 3-14s pretty easily and I doubt a standard H would have done that. As to whether or not it was an actual SH kit or something that just bumped up the HP some, I don't know.
