I'm wanting to put a loader on an early Farmall H with the liftall hyd system updated to 800 psi opertaing pressure. At WOT I can get a pressure gauge to about 850 psi on the pump. I want to put forks on it and be able to pick up somewhere around 800 lbs. Will a No. 30 or 31 loader, or the limited capability of the liftall system handle this kind of weight? If it will work any leads on a loader are appreciated. Thanks, Matt.

I have a Stan-Hoist loader, its not real pretty but it gets the job done, and i am using the belly pump.

We have a #31 loader on the MTA, & it will lift 1000 lbs with 1200 lbs on the pump pressure--at least that is what the pressure was after putting the last pump on---20 years ago---probably less now. Probably the heaviest load that is put on the loader right now is when the snow bucket is full of wet slush.

I've got a #31 on a 1950 H. I do not know the pump pressure. I've picked up slabs of concrete that had to weigh well over 1,000 pounds.

Just remember, that much weight on a front end loader WILL make the tractor very unstable. Be careful and carry the weight as low to the ground as possible.
