I have a plugged radiator on my M and the cost to boil it and then fix the leaks is pushing up close to the cost of a replacement radiator. Any thoughts on where to buy a new good high quality one?? Are the ones sold on this site good? They seem to be a reasonable price.

Thanks

You must decide what is best for you, but as for me, I'd rather find an original M radiator that is in good shape and use it over a new made in China/India radiator. There are a lot of good ones out there on ebay and places like that....

I have been searching for an MD radiator (same as a M) and cant seem to come across one for a decent price. Do you know where I can track one or two down that DONT need to be fixed before I can install it.

I've dealt with a local radiator shop here for almost ten years, and he has been repairing radiators for a long time. I once asked him the same question, and he showed me my original M radiator and the best new radiator he new of. The original radiator weighed almost twice as much as the new replacement. He has also seen a few of the new replacements in his shop acouple years after installation already leaking and coming apart. A good radiator shop should be able to repair yours and you not have any trouble for a long time.

There is a radiator shop in B,ham AL that goes by name of McNutt, that built me a radiator for 51 Ford pickup and 58 Fairlane car. Dose a great job at a reasonable price. Don't have their number, but should be able to find it in yellowpages. Harley
