B275 hour meter

Does anyone know where I can get a mechanical hour meter or have one repaired for a B275? I checked and the part number has been retired.I checked in India at Mahindra which built them in England along with IH. I'm also checking in England but no luck yet. Even a good used one would work. Maybe I'll have to put on an electric one, but how will that work with a positive ground? Let me know, Guys.

Can't help with a B275 mechanical meter.

However the S-W/Hobbs, etc. electrical hour meters are set up as "isolated ground" instruments. IE the meter electrics are isolated from the case and they have both "+" and "-" power terminals.

To install an electric hour meter on a positive ground tractor simply connect the meter's "-" to the switched supply and the "+" terminal to ground.
