1978 806d hydraulic concern and engine not getting hot

I have a 1978 International 806d with an allied loader. The other day I was plowing snow and the bucket went up roughly 6 feet and now will not come down. When working the hydraulics the bucket will go up/down roughly 1 inch but will not tip at all. The temp was roughly 3 degrees celsius. I have a seperate issue in that the engine does not heat up. I have replaced the t-stat and the rad (rad was leaking). Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The warming up could be the fact the it was 3 degrees. Moving snow won't put enough load on it to get it up to operating temp when it's that cold.
Try some card board or a feed sack over part of the radiator.

Hard to say on the hyd. problem, but could be water in the system freezing.

Also all 806's were built between 1964-1968 or 69.

I forgot to mention that I have the rad totally blocked off with a sheet of plywood. Also the tractor is plugged into a circulating heater.

Thanks LBSMJS, checked the couplers and found 3 of 4 lines partially disconnected. Reconnected lines and loader works normally.

Plan on replacing them soon, then. Both the tips and the sockets. They don't come uncoupled like that unless they are badly worn, or someone disconnects them on purpose.

They're going to pop out again, and eventually they won't stay coupled for love or money.
