100pto hp which model?

I have an auger requiring 100 pto hp, 540 pto, 2 remotes. My 706 is pretty under powered on it, and I'm thinking about the 856, 966, 1066. Any advice on these models, or others that would be suitable? Thanks, stovepipe
 
The 856 and 966 are just at the 100hp range and the 1066 is at the 130 hp range although most these tractors are turned up already like the 1066's are running around the 150hp range. If you need a min.of 100hp go with the 1066. The other two would be about max out at 100hp
 
OK, are fenders eay to get to turn one into open station? Are the motor and PTO good in these tractors? Thanks
 
I have seen fenders listed in several parts catalogs and probley there are several salvage yards would have them. The motors on these tractors are very good and I have had to rebuild two PTO's on tractors that I have owned but they had lots of hours on them. They are a lot easier to rebuild or have rebuilt in my opion than other tractors. You just have to unbolt them and don't have to tear the tractor apart. You can rebuild the PTO's for around $200.00
 
Yes. The reliability is well above average. Hp/gallons/Hr is very good. PTO clutches and systems are good. Condition of any tractor is determined with tests and history of maintenance. Be sure what you buy has the slower 540 PTO, and or both. Some may have only 1000RPM JimN
