Farmall H Govenor

I am new to this and wondering if someone could give me some advice. I have a farmall H has rebuilt carb,and distributor. The problem is that when it is ideling it runs good, but you speed it up it surges. Is there some kind of adjustment. Thanks for your help

Idle screw

If it's just a small surge, adjust the load and idle screws per the manual. If it's three to four hundred RPM look at the governor

Sounds like it is a tad lean. As the others have said, adjust the carb.

There ane two ajustment screws in a H's govoner one for max and low idle, but if it is surging I would take the govoner apart and make sure the counter weights are in good condition and not chiped or bent. Some times takeing it apart and putting it back togather will fix the problem.
