do farmall A dn B rear wheel weight weigh more than the rear weights for a cub? i have seen the A and B weights on cubs and wondered if they provided more weight that the cub weights. thanks

the cub cadet rear wheel weights are 30 lbs ea, and they also fit the farmall cub and low boy as the front wheel weights.

Glennster has been on here for a while, where did you come from? -- we all make mistakes. Why don't you answer it?

At least he was adding something productive to the thread. Its additional information, and something that maybe the OP could use.

You on the other hand havent done anything to help, and just want to dig into someone who had helped many people here.

I would say an apology is in order, but thats just me. No need for that kind of input on this board.

It kinda surprised me when I looked it up, but according to the parts books, the Cub weights (#351374R1)are actually about 10# heavier than the A/B weights (#6701DA), 150# vs 140#.

I recall a thread six weeks or so ago on a similar question, and there was something said about the taper of the weights being different making for some fit issues, but nothing insurmountable.

You can find different numbers listed for both the Cub and A weights in different IH publications. For all practical purposes, any of them are 150 pounds each. The taper of the Cub and A wheel centers are a bit different, as is the size of the center hole of the weights. A weights can be put on a Cub. Going the other way is a problem because of the center hole. Attaching bolts for the Cub are smaller and A bolts won't fit through the Cub centers.

gee wizzz.....sorry i made a mistake. i am glad you are perfect however. i mis read the question. cub and cub lo-boy front wheel weights do fit the rear wheels on the cub cadet.
