Super MTA Piston rings

I have a super MTA that needs rings,it has a 4 1/8" bore with step head pistons,is this a standard bore or a overbore? the pistons have a IH part #374457-R1,any suggestions on where to get new rings and what brand of rings to use would be appreciated.

374457 R1 would be a 4-1/8 fire crater piston. Get rings from dealer, this site or about anyplace that sells engine parts. Check your ring width compared to replacements to make sure you get the correct ones.

Perfect Circle, Grant, Hastings. Are all good quality (I think US made) Ring sets. Chrome top rings, and chrome edged 3 piece oil control rings are the best. JimN

YT may have them, but first go to your local auto parts store. Let them measure them and see if they can find a match. Would most likely be cheaper. Hastings rings are good.
